Lambros oversaw court within the municipality including traffic and ordinance violations; small claims and civil cases with a jurisdictional limit of $15,000; criminal misdemeanor cases; and other preliminary proceedings in felony cases. Regardless of how small the matter was, each person left with the feeling of being heard and that justice was served.
As a Law Director and Village Solicitor representing the municipality, Lambros advised on all matters of law, contract preparation, and other legal instruments, including the drafting of all municipal ordinances and resolutions. He also advised all municipal employees and officers, and the city as a primary client, while exercising independent judgment in the best interest of the city.
Lambros personally represented many other municipalities in dozens of lawsuits, and drafted over 1,500 ordinances, resolutions, and contracts, as well as hundreds of new or amended laws within the scope of tenure.
